Nat is responsible for selecting and monitoring external managers and for developing the firm’s asset allocation policy. He brings nearly two decades of experience in finance to Aureus including private equity investing, mergers & acquisitions, asset management, and hedge fund operations.
Prior to joining Aureus, Nat was a Partner at Lyceum Capital, a long/short equity hedge fund, with responsibility for business development and client service. His private equity and M&A experience includes time with Allen & Company Incorporated, where he was a Vice President of the firm, and Bankers Trust Company where he was an Associate in the Latin America Merchant Bank. Nat also spent significant time at OFFITBANK, where he was an Analyst in the firm’s high-yield fixed-income group.
Nat received his BA from Bowdoin College and holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is an Overseer of the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston.
